The Process Guide
I’m sure you would agree that there is an extraordinary amount of project management best practices knowledge out there. From Waterfall to Agile projects, and everything in between, the sheer amount of knowledge in the field is truly staggering. As Project Managers, we strive to continually educate ourselves and learn new things about Project Management every day so that we can be the best at what we do. However, being able to recall this information when we need it most to make sure no key pieces of information are missed that could benefit our projects tremendously can be quite the challenge.
What we need is an organized system to procure, store, and retrieve Project Management information right on the spot.

The Process Flow:
A Project Management Methodology

Imagine traveling back in time and being aboard a ship before the advent of modern technology. The ship is seeking to dock in a port without a lighthouse. It’s completely pitch black, and the ship’s captain is blindly guessing at where the shoreline is. Based on experience, the captain might be able to dock the ship under these less than ideal conditions. But after attempting this manuever on several different occasions while under the same constraints, at some point a mistake will be made and the ship will spectacularly crash into the port.
Much like a captain making sure the ideal conditions are present for them to successfully navigate the seas and land their ship safetly, a project manager should take measures to insure that an organization undertakes projects in a consistent, repeatable fashion in order to increase the likelihood of project success. The Project Manager and organization can do this by implementing a Project Management Methodology.
What is a Project Management Methodology and Why do you need one?
A Project Management methodology provides a blueprint for how tasks and projects are planned, managed, and executed, from start to finish. It tells you the what, when, and how of Project Management.
The PM Pro Kit includes The Process Flow, a waterfall-based Project Management methodology based on the processes in the PMBOK Guide.

Why use the Process Flow Project Management Methodology?

It is fully customizable, so you can tailor it to fit the size and complexity of your project by choosing to include, remove, or modify the processes.
